This policy covers the Evipedia browser extension for Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. It applies only to the extension — not to the evipedia.ai website, which is covered by the Forever Healthy privacy policy.
The extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Everything it does runs locally in your browser. No page content, URLs, browsing history, or personal information is ever sent to Evipedia, Forever Healthy, or anyone else.
The extension reads the text of the pages you visit only within your browser to find terms that match a known Evipedia evidence review, and highlights them. Hovering a highlight shows a summary card; clicking it opens the full review on evipedia.ai. This text processing happens entirely on your device and the page text never leaves it.
None. Specifically, the extension does not collect or transmit:
The extension saves your preferences — global on/off, "highlight once", and any per-site exclusions — using the browser's local extension storage. This stays on your device, is used only to remember your settings, and is never synced or sent anywhere.
The extension makes a single type of network request: it downloads the public review index
(reviews.json) from evipedia.ai — the same public file the evipedia.ai widget
uses. This request carries no user data; it only fetches the list of reviews so terms
can be matched locally. No other servers are contacted.
reviews.json index. The extension contains no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party trackers. It does not sell or share any data, because it does not collect any.
